loophole languages
This is a starting template, not legal advice. It covers the basics honestly given what the site currently does (collecting an email address via the subscribe form), but you should have it properly reviewed — especially once the app launches and starts collecting other kinds of data, or if you're ever unsure how UK GDPR applies to something specific.

Who this is from

Loophole Languages is run by [your name / business name], based in the UK. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact [your email address].

What I collect

If you use the subscribe form on this site, I collect your email address. That's the only personal data this site currently asks for.

Why I collect it

Solely to email you when there's a new article or, eventually, when the app launches. I don't use it for anything else, and I don't sell or share it with third parties for marketing.

How it's stored

Submissions go through Netlify Forms, the service this site is hosted on. Netlify processes and stores the submission on my behalf. You can read Netlify's own privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Loading them means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as a normal part of that request. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies

This site doesn't set its own tracking or analytics cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see what data I hold on you, ask me to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time. To unsubscribe or request deletion, email [your email address] and I'll action it promptly.

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, once the app launches and collects different data — I'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
